Property Tax Relief for Kansas Families: Charlotte has lowered state property taxes and voted to cap local property tax hikes.
Home Prices: Charlotte helped pass a bill this year that cuts government red tape to make houses more available and affordable. A better supply of homes will help tamp down runaway prices.
Safer Neighborhoods: Repeat offenders are responsible for a majority of crime, so Charlotte took action with a new law that hands career criminals tougher penalties and improves public safety in our community.
K-12 Schools: Charlotte has voted for record funding for our public schools, including millions more for special ed. She also helped get cell phones out of classrooms to improve academic results and improve our kids’ mental health.
