State Tax Relief for Kansas Families: Tom has methodically and responsibly lowered income, property, and sales taxes for you. The result: about $350 a year of tax relief per person, or $1,400 for a family of four!
Home Prices: Tom helped pass a bill this year that cuts government red tape to make houses more available and affordable. A better supply of homes will help tamp down runaway prices.
Safer Neighborhoods: Repeat offenders are responsible for a majority of crime, so Tom took action with a new law that hands career criminals tougher penalties and improves public safety in our community.
K-12 Schools: Tom has voted for record funding for our public schools, including millions more for special ed. He also helped get cell phones out of classrooms to improve academic results and improve our kids’ mental health.
